Dear Sales Professional:

That you are on this page means you are likely considering membership in AzSalesPros and the International Sales Pros Association.  My sincerest hope is that you make a decision to join us. You of course undoubtedly would like to know why it may makes sense to participate with the group.  I can share with you what I believe we bring and why I would make a decision to participate and I can share what our hope is in providing this organization.  If these aren't sufficient than I would understand if you made a different choice.

Originally this group was chartered to provide for the education, motivation and sense of community for all the sales professionals in the State of Arizona.  Recognizing there were few support mechanisms that went beyond chamber mixers or "leads" groups to support the soul of those charged with generating revenue for Arizona, AzSalesPros built programs to foster deep relationships amongst peers, education paths for early career to senior level executives and mostly a sense of community or even family among those of us charged with the responsibility of bringing home the bacon.  Since May of 2001 when we began, hundred of jobs have been shared, people hired and grown, and thousands of sales "tips" from senior sales professionals have been delivered via e-mail to the membership as a whole.  Programs have included the founder of ACT Software, world class professional speakers and dozens of sales experts delivering sales expertise.  I have personally known the members to hire their whole sales team strictly from the AzSalesPros group, and I have known sales people who have discovered their best sales opportunities here.

If that isn't enough to consider joining, allow me to tell you what is coming.

With the dawn of the International Sales Pros Association, you can expect National and International coverage of all the benefits we have received locally over the last 6 years.  We can expect chapters to spring up not only all over Phoenix and Arizona, but nationally and Internationally as well.  Just a few weeks into our new phase we have already had inquiries from multiple states across the country.

We can expect local educational conferences with World Class presenters and we can expect forums for e-mail listserve discussions as well as bulletin board type discussion for very specific topical interests.  As always, we can continue to expect the development of relationships amongst peers, on a global or local level based on your interests as strong or stronger than ever before.

Various types of membership provide greater levels of recognition than ever before and the most important new element you can expect will be certification of sales professionals on a nationally recognized level.  The International Sales Pros Association is uniquely positioned to provide a world class certification for those studying and passing examinations at multiple levels of sales expertise.

I am excited about this direction and what it means to the global sales community.  Excited for the economy it stimulates and excited for those lucky enough to play in it and see it work for their personal dreams and the benefit of their families and communities.  Thanks for joining us.  I will look forward to your name on the group.
